Brooks Jody Belcher

Brooks Jody Belcher has been interpreting in ASL since 2001. Jody started his career as an interpreter in the educational field. He successfully completed an Interpreting Training Program through the West Virginia Rehabilitation Center in 2001. He became a nationally certified interpreter (NAD III) in 2002.

In 2003, he relocated to Southwest Florida and started working as a freelance interpreter. Jody obtained National Interpreter Certification (NIC) in 2006. He is experienced in a variety of interpreting settings including education, post-secondary, legal, medical, mental health, and video relay.

Jody and his wife Natalie founded Associated Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. in 2006 with the goal of providing quality interpreting services in Southwest Florida.
